Q.1 : What is the difference between Solid Dish, Fiber Dish & Aluminum Dish and which is the best for receiving FREE TO AIR satellite channels?

Ans: Dear, Solid Dish, Fiber Dish & Aluminum Dishes are the same but the materials are different. The fiberglass dish is the best for receiving digital free to air channels. Solid fiberglass dish give better signal than the aluminum dish. Fiberglass dish save from rusting, it is suitable for all climatic region.

Q.2 : Sir, I want to see Satellite Network but you advice me which Receiver, LNB and Dish is the best for receiving ‘FREE TO AIR channels. Please give me information about above items?

Ans: If you wanted to buy free to air digital receiver from the market NEOSAT is the best for receiving all free to air digital channels. In Pakistan fiberglass dish is better than Aluminium dish because it is durable for all climatic region, it is safe from rust. When you buy LNB, C-band or KU-band please ask Gardiner LNB of C-band and Strong LNB of KU-band its quality is better than the other brands.

Q.3 : Can I watch C-band and KU-band channels using only one Dish and one receiver is this possible or not? Please give me an advice?

Ans: Dear Reader, it is possible to see C-band and KU-band channels using one receiver and one dish. But you need Coroter C+KU and multiple receiver that can convert C-band to KU-band frequency. In the market many types of receivers are available. you can purchase it.

Q.4 : I want to connect Analogue Receiver and Cable for recording. Please tell me how can I connect all of them. I also want to connect a TV Antenna?

Ans: Combine the receiver and Cable R-F output for recording. Please purchase 4 way low Frequency Splitter and connect both R-F output of Dish and Cable into splitter. Take one output from Splitter and connect it to VCR R-F in. After then, take VCR lead and connect it to VCR out and this lead connect to TV. First tune your VCR on TV in UHF band after this tune all the channels of Cable and Dish on UHF band on VCR. If you do this procedure, now you can get all the channels of Cable & Dish and record them if you want.

Q.5 : At this time how many channels are available on KU-band on different Satellites and also tell me which is the cheapest Digital Receiver and what is the cost?

Ans: Dear, different brands of digital receiver’s are available in the market cheapest price of digital receiver is Rs.10,600/- Prices are different in the market. More than two hundred KU-band channels are available on different Satellites. Please check channels list in your magazine.

Q.6 : Sir, which receiver and decoder is the best quality and what is the price of receiver and decoder. ESPN digital channel is running clearly or not? Please tell me what is the price of decoder of ESPN?

Ans: The Winnersat Super Analog receiver is good for receiving all Analog channels and Pace decoder is the best for all decoded channels. ESPN digital channel is not running clearly on any Satellite. You have to buy Star decoder, to watch ESPN channel. Star decoder package have thirteen channels, the price of Star decoder and card of one year is 29,900/-.

Q.7 : Sir, what is the frequency of ‘TURKSAT” 42 East tell me that?

Ans: The TURKSAT frequency of Analog channels is 11.080GHz, 11.122Hz, 11.177GHz, Polarity Horizontal it is on KU-band. You can receive these channels using a 12ft Solid dish. The Elevation of this Satellite is 50 degree, and Azimuth is 42 degree East.

Q.8 : Sir, tell me about TB-6 This channel is not coming why?

Ans: TB6 channels are not coming on Analog receiver, it is on free to air digital receiver on C-band. It is located on YAMAL Sat 90 degree East and Elevation is 50 degree. This Satellite transmitting TB6 on digital transmission.

Q.9 : Dear Editor, on satellite ST-1 88 degree East, the Mega Movies and PTV on Thaicom is also not seen. Please give us their codes and LNB I.F. frequency of low and high, of KU-band if you give this frequency we can receive easily all Ku-band digital channels? Please also give me advice, which is the best digital receiver of C-band and Ku-band?

Ans: At ST-1 Satellite is not transmitting Mega Movie channel, when it is located we will let you know through our magazine. For the receiving of PTV from Thaicom Satellite. Please refer the frequency chart of digital channels in our magazine.

Q.10 : Sir, I want to see Sky digital UK and Austar digital Package for Austar Foxtel Australia. If available in market tell me that what is the price of Digital Receiver?

Ans: This is not possible to receive Sky digital U.K. and Australia Foxtel in Pakistan. This is the European package, we can not locate it on the foot print of the Clark belt that carries the above Satellite channels.

Q.11 : I want to see “YAMAL” Satellite Channels, this Satellite is transmitting RTP and Zee channels. Tell me about “YAMAL” satellite frequency and are these a C-band, digital or analog channels. Please tell me?

Ans: Dear Reader, the YAMAL satellite is transmitting RTP and Zee, these are digital channels on C-band and their frequencies are 3.645GHz and Polarity is Left hand circular and it is located at 90 degree East.
