The LOF setting itself offers numerous choices so that even LNBs with unusual oscillator frequencies can be used. Thanks to the integrated 0/12V jack, something not often found on modern receivers, this box can also be used with older C/Ku-band systems.

This can be used with all types of antennas. This box has the capacity to store 10,000 TV and radio channels. Have connected the box to a 800watt home cinema system and the sound is clear and not muffled using both the SPDIF and also the standard Audio cable output.

The box comes loaded with youtube, Internet TV and Radio, Google and a host of other, all work and are fast. The box utilizes the USB at the rear for recording, the usual can be done pause, rewind etc, no issues at all, used a 4GB mem stick formatted to FAT32. Press Menu - then Plug ins then scroll to XCAMCONFIGURE, press the red button on the remote and change this to Auto, then press the green button to start and this will take you to server list and press OK on server 0.

Where you put your Username and password, it will be starred out, so highlight username and enter in 1407 on the remote and this will then open it up to edit or add details, once you enter your line (always take your time doing this, its where all easy mistakes happen, then go to XCAMCLIENT, change this to Auto by pressing the red button and press green and this will start your line and do it automatically.

Thanks to the integrated DVB-S2 tuner, the HM-9001 S is perfect for reception of high resolution content. Along with that, there are a variety of modes available to display a 4:3 signal on a 16:9 TV. A push of the OK button opens up the channel list that can display up to 16 channels at the same time on one page. This actually makes it fun to comb through an extensive channel list. The list can be sorted alphabetically, by frequency, by satellite, by genre, by provider, by country or by CAS/FTA. Channels you like to watch more often than others can be moved into one of the Favorites lists.

Based on what I have seen, the box is a good one and I would recommend it for someone who is looking to get a good sat box, the support for the box is there. The box is small, smaller than the old SV4 box, One thing that is slow is the box starting up, its Linux, the USB at the back is close to the lane port, underneath it, so if the memory stick u use is bulky, you will have a slight issue slotting it, due to the proximity of the lane port and cable, but if you use a small HD with USB cable then sure fine, but other than that, I have not found fault yet with it or the running of the box, have not encountered any freezing with it.
