BeauSAT VXR3 Digital Satellite Receiver

There are plenty of receivers available in the market. BeauSAT with its new model VXR3 has kept size to a minimum with a small, handy and elegant receiver. On the front panel of the very nicely designed cabinet are three buttons. These buttons are used for the operation and different use of the receiver. The four digit green display on the front panel shows the current channel number and time in standby mode.

The rear panel of BeauSAT VXR3 is very familiar. It is equipped with RS-232 for upgrading the STB programme and software, video output, 0/12 volt output, S/PDIF for connection to a digital amplifier and a main power switch. No scart connector was found an the rear panel. The remote control will sit nicely in your hand. It has an easy access to all the functions.

Once you have installed and connected the cables of the receiver, the main menu will be displayed on your screen. The first thing inorder to move ahead is the language selection. The user can communicate with the receiver in English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Portugnese. Every should be ale to find language that they can use.

BeauSAT come preprogrammed with 4000 channel and 50 very update satellites from all over the world. If one is not satisfied with these channels and satellites, he may add more satellites and channels of his interest. All the local oscillator frequencies for C-band and Ku-band are available. The receiver receives SCPC and MCPC signals from C and Ku-band with out any problem. Switching between NTSC and PAL is an easy Job. BeauSAT VXR3 supports DiSEqC 1.2 positioner for multi-satellites. Organization of everything is handled in the channel list. Unwanted channels can be deleted, other can be moved, rename, sorted, locked or added. Popular channels can be sent to one of the four favourites lists for easier recall at a later time. Here the groups may be divided on the basis of content like news, sports, movies and music etc. During the installation, the Ok key confirms a selection and left/right key shows the drop down list box.

Swithcing from one channel to another occurs without any delay. Teletext is supported and a programming overview for the next seven days is provided by the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). Pressing the OK key brings the channel list, while the original channel is visible on the upper right side of the screen. Timer function can be used to automatically switch over to your desired programming. If you want to change the satellite name, select the satellite and press satellite name edit key (yellow color key) on the remote control to display the command box. The key pad dialog will appear. Using the arrow keys on the remote control, you can edit the satellite name easily. The parental control function will allow you to lock the channel with a password inorder to prevent children from adult channels. You can also protect your installed data and information using the install lock. If there is nothing to watch, the integrated video games will be your good friends.

Small size and attractive design, 4000 channels, SCPC and MCPC compatibility, C and Ku-band reception is enough for a free to air receiver.
